PixelSift, a WA-based gaming podcast and blog, approached my brother Ben and I at the Global Game Jam ’18 site in Perth by. We gave a short interview on our jam game, nu//void, another game on the Doom engine. From there we arranged to soon meet for a proper interview on The Adventures of Square. This was streamed live in front of an audience of close friends in the Doom modding scene who provided questions, co-commentary, and oh my god so many puns.
It was a good laugh so hopefully you too will get some humour and some insight into development process for our game!
Reminder that the game’s first episode is free for download, with another two planned. Stay tuned to the game’s official website.
Below is the aforementioned short Twitter interview on nu//void.
Last weekend we went down to @globalgamejam #Perth to speak to game makers a few hours into this year's challenge which is celebrating it's 10th anniversary this year. https://t.co/O78v8JueKr #AGPN @letsmakegames @JamesPaddock @baratus93 pic.twitter.com/hsXdzwJUkx
